Default font problem - 07-19-2004 , 02:30 AM






Hi, Im having some font issues...I don't think they're anti-aliased...is there
a way I can get them to be anti-alaised...
i can't use an image... : -( also can someone suggest a site I
can check out that has the fonts that most
people have...im trying to avoid using times,arial...and spice it up a little.

well.. unfortunately, there are only a standard 5 fonts that comes with all OS.
the rest varies.
(thats if i did not recall wrongly)

There is no way to force anti-aliasing from within HTML or CSS. You can
get the effect by rendering your text as a graphic, as you note, but
other than that, font anti-aliasing (or "font smoothing") is implemented
on the system level as in MacOS X.
