folders have a mind of their own

Using DWMX on WinXP.

I had this problem about a year ago and someone told me how to fix it but I
don't remember what the solution was......

In the site panel there are three folders that automatically open when I try
to open another folder. It's really getting annoying...I end up opening
wrong files.

Can anyone offer the solution?

Nevermind. Removed and recreated site definitions and all is back to
normal.
