Need help establishing a connection within DW to SQL2005 database on godaddy.com

i have the connection string setup within my connections file and if i
handcode the displaying of my recordset, the page works once uploaded.. but
im use to having the ability to make my selection of tables and stored
procedures from the dreamweaver windows..

Right now if i try to open the Bindings list i get an error HTTP Error
Code 400 Bad Request

with that i cant select my column names and bind them to the page..

Has anyone been able to make a connection to the SQL database and use these
features withing DW?

I really dont have the time to ref my table and column layouts to hand code
every field i want displayed on the page and such.. any ideas or suggestions
would be great...

Also, when i upload the pages, they work fine, so i know my connection is
working, but not locally. If i setup a Custom Connection String that doesnt
work either..

Yes! I've been successfully able to connect to GoDaddy MySQL database. But only
through lots of trial and error and only through help with customer support.
First off, what kind of server do you have with them? Is it a shared hosting or
is it virtual dedicated or dedicated. The method is hugely different with each
one. I'm checking this regularly because I'm trying to get a question answered,
so let me know and I'll try to share the knowledge.

Its a Windows Shared Hosting plan...

my connection works great when i upload to the server, so i know that the
communication is setup properly, but i want to be able to connect to the
tables to be able to bind and setup my procedures without havign to hand
code it all..

Im use to using MSAccess locally and remotely so setting up the DSN locally
so i can configure the pages and since the setup is the same on the server
once uploaded everything works fine..

but now with this setup this i can only see once i have uploaded the pages
to the site..

I was able to connect to the MySQL database by going to my godaddy database
list in the hosting control center. I picked the database I wanted and clicked
on the "pencil" to view the details of the database. Then I clicked on the
configuration icon. I highlighted the entire box of ODBC 3.51 settings and
copied them to the connection string. I was able to connect and to test. it
shows all tables, but now when I go to live view I get an error message that
says "Microsoft VBScript compilation error 800a0408 invalid character"
