Default FLASH MASH - 07-05-2006 , 04:37 PM

Hi can any one tell me where or in what folder and what part of the flash
programe to i need to locate to where? So i can play audio on my site in design
view or viewed in my browser.

This is what I do...... I go to download flashplayer install in on my pc. try
to insert an audio file mp3 and nothing happens.
Do i need to locate the flashplayer to a specific folder inside dreamweaver or
what?

To get a more up to date idea of what I am saying and trying to do check out

1. You did not include a link
2. Flash *Player* plays flash media files, it does not insert them
3. Flash the program can be used to insert media into your site, but is
hardly the most economical way. I suggest researching other options to
include audio on your site.

What does that mean "INSTALL" on pc?

After you downloaded the ZIP file containing all the various files...what
did you do next?

Did you read the documentation as I suggested in the other thread? I think
perhaps not.

Of course you do. How else are you going to work with these files in
Dreamweaver?

Do you have a site defined in Dreamweaver? If so, where in this site
structure is the page you want to play audio with using this flashplayer
system?

My mistake, I read "flash player" as Flash plugin.

Please disregard my post, it appears you have been working through this on
another post.

It's not a program. There is no installing.

READ THE DOCUMENTATION in the Readme.html file.

You now have three threads going on the same issue. One will do. (The others
have proved difficult enough...don't need another one to make it even more
muddled)

I hope I don't offend you - I truly don't intend to! - but by the nature of
your questions and a depiction your thought process as rendered in your
posts here, it appears that you may not have even the basic skills required
to perform this task. It's not terribly complex, but if you don't have the
basic skills under your belt it will continue to appear as daunting and
puzzling as you seem to be finding it.
Frankly, I don't know what to tell you given what you seem to understand
(and not understand) about this process.
You are not going to be able to "install" this stuff into Dreamweaver and
then press a button that will make it all happen.

That said...look at this: http://www.buddhapada.com/tests/julia2.htm

please do not YELL

You have three threads going on, and none of them include complete
contextual information of WHAT you want to do, and what you have already
attempted.

slow down and quiet down please.
