Flash or Image wont show up?

Hi,
Thanks for any help. Im in the middle of redoing a site and the flash
heading I made for it will not show up on top. It looks fine when I preview it
"before publishing it" and when I view the file its self it looks find
"uploaded" to the host provider, but it is not appearing on the published page.
=( I have even taken the flash title off and made a jpg image and put that
in its place and published that but still it will not show up on the published
page.

Can anyone think of a reason why it's not showing up? I have made and used
plenty of flash headings and published many a pages with dreamweaver and this
same host so im not new to this so am very puzzled. The only thing I can
think of is that I purchased a template for this site instead of making my own
and maybe their code is keeping me from putting it in. There was an image up
top in the template so it is an editable region.

your flash file shows on my browser, so it's probably that you have
Norton blocking it on your computer because it thinks it's an ad.
Change the size of your flash movie (just a few pixels) and that should
solve the problem (Norton stupidly blocks flash banners that have a
certain size because it used to be a standard advertising size). Or get
rid of Norton, it's a retarded app.

Besides this, you have a lot of links in your code that look like this:
"file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings/Jil..."
These links point to your hard drive, not your website, so they won't
work. You should correct these.

Hi,
Thank you so much! I just resized the image and now its showing up. Whew!
But now im unsure on how to go about changing my other files that you said I
need to change.

The folder that im keeping the files in for the site is on my dexk top in a
folder this is where I have kept them for other sites and it worked out OK.
Any suggestions?

this folder should be inside your site folder. Everything you are using
for your site should be in the folder that is defined as the site folder
in Dreamweaver site definitions.
