Does anyone know whether the bug that ends up in DW MX2004 crashing when you hit Ctrl+F has been resolved? Althernatively, is there a workaround that will prevent it happening? Regards Jos |

Hi Jerry Yes - it was reasonably well commented on in the forums when MX 2004 was launched - basically what happens is that on hitting Ctrl-F, the F& R dialog pops up then an alert window pops up with "While executing DWMenu_Edit_Find_Replace command in menus.xml, the following JavaScript error(S) occurred: Exception thrown in native function." On clicking 'OK', Dreamweaver simply quits It's mighty frustrating that's for sure... It seems to happen most frequently when there are no files open and you want to search an entire directory. Does anyone have any pearls of wisdom? Cheers Jos "Jerry McEwen" <no.m (AT) il (DOT) thanks> wrote in message news:kqlhc09fia9jnmesrsi6rt24joc8ot6dab (AT) 4ax (DOT) com...
