Default File transfer - 11-19-2004 , 04:58 PM

Hi, I copied a .gif image into my DW root folder and also created a .htm file
of the same image because that's a format I can actually open in DW. I named
this file 'Images/iss.htm.' and then set up links to it in a couple of my
index.html files. Subsequently, I experimented with adding some text to the
file, but that seemed to cause problems. I decided to rename the file. I went
back into the relevant web pages and insured that the code reflected the new
file name so that the browser searches for the correct url. However, when I go
online and click on those particular links, I get a 404 error message
(Firefox) saying that the file Images/iss.htm can not be found(!) I'm not
looking for iss.htm anymore, the code says the link should be looking for
Issaq.htm and that's what I uploaded to the server. IE6 merely shows a blank
screen with a little square with a red 'X' in one corner. When I go to the
server, I can find the new file I uploaded, but when I click to view the file,
nothing comes up, just a little square in the upper left corner with a red 'X'.
I know this can be done, since I added an image successfully with links to it
in the same documents, but when I try to repeat the earlier steps which were
successful, it no longer works. Why is the image getting lost and where and how
can I resolve this problem. My web page is http://www.mandalaacupunctuare.com
and if you click on the Welcome link and then on the 'Issaquah office' which is
the first link, you'll see the end result of the problem. Thanks for any
suggestions you may have. riverjordan
