File Download Question

I`m just starting to learn Dreamweaver MX 2004 and I want to include a
folder on my website that I`m working on where after my customers make a
payment they can go to that particular page and download a PDF file or a
Software exe file but can not find anything in all the books I`ve looked at
that explains this.Any help will be appreciated.Thanks
