extension manager problem - second post

Hello - I am working on DWMX 2004. It is installed to program
files/macromedia_2 (windows xp) as I have kept dw MX on the system. It is
however installed to a different folder (in the original location program
files/macromedia).

When i try to access the extension manager, I get the ikon in the taskbar,
showing that it is open, but it won't display on the screen. Neither from
within dreamweaver nor from explorer. The same is true of the em in the
original MX (program files/macromedia) version.

It used to run in both versions.

Help me, what can have happened?
