Default Editing Roll-over Images - 08-05-2004 , 10:14 PM

Hi,

I have a webpage with a number of roll-over images and I am currently changing
some of the names of the source images. I find that I can enter a new name for
the initial image but cannot for the second image it rolls over to.

How can I get around doing this without replacing each roll-over image,
entering the new link and name tag for each?

look forward to hearing from you,

paul

Search and replace would seem to be your best choice. However, a little more
detail would help. There might be an easier way, but you need to be more
specific.

Now, having said that, he confidently strides up to his trusty soap box,
mounts it and delivers his short, but pointed exhortation.

Based upon your limited description, I think that it's safe to say that if
you had done the rollovers in CSS, to begin with, you would not be having
that problem today. Since you already have some work ahead of you, instead
of taking the easy way out, you should think about scrapping any non-CSS
rollovers and redoing them in CSS. It should only take a little more time,
but will make future changes a snap.

He then dismounts his soapbox, picks it up and goes home, content that
another misguided soul has seen the CSS light. 8^)
