Edit page options

Hi,

I have a members directory which includes various elements including a list of
member interests, these interests are predefined in a table in a database and
selected via a repeat region on the add details page. Users select elements via
tick boxes and the appropriate text is added to their record in the database.
There is also a free text area for additional interests.

I want to create an edit page that displays in the same way as the add page
but has interest already selected ticked. Is there a way to do this using my
current structure or do I have to reconfigure my database table so that each
interest is a field with yes/no options?
