DWCS4 - Need help with 'root' location for local files

Been using CS3 and locally all my files are coded to the 'root' location like
this "/images/", "/js/", "/sports/", etc. Prior to installing CS4 that was fine
and in design view I could see all my images as I designed. Now that I have
installed CS4, I have to put a period in front of the folder ie: "./images/",
"./js/", "./sports/", etc. for CS$ to show me the files in design view.
Problem is that my server doesn't like that so either I manually added and
remove that period for every page as I design it or hopefully there is some way
in CS4 to see the files just as my server does without the period.

Any help is appreciated.

I do appreciate the quick reply. However, the problem I am having is in the
actual design view while in DWCS4 and not previewing. All my images show a
broken box rather than the graphic. This is not the case in versions prior to
CS4.

That shouldn't be happening. Do you have a testing server defined?
