Default DW8: HTML Fonts not displaying properly in Design Mode. - 10-19-2005 , 09:42 PM

MAC Platform of DW8.
I have searched eveywhere for a box to check on this one.
But can not find a sollution anywhere.

HTML Fonts do not display properly on-screen in Design Mode.
a <font size="-1"> appears the same size as <font size="3"> or larger.

DW8 is behaving as if the default is <font size="3"> and anything smaller is
not displayed smaller.
CSS is displayed properly.
And when reviewing the same page in MX 2004, there is no problem.
It is very close to WYSIWYG.
So I have either overlooked something in the settings or Preferences,
or am dealing with a program bug.

One site I work on must stay in Font Tags (CSS is not an option),
so this Display problem is very inconvenient and time consuming checking in
the browser that all the font tagging is done correctly.
Suspect a program bug, so may need to wait for a patch/update.

I don't think so. It's how HTML styles are rendered by the various
browsers. You'd have exactly the same problem with pages created in
notepad.
