DW won't stay in "testing server" mode

At the top of the "files" window in DW there are the three icons labeled Site
Files, Testing Server, and Site Map. For some reason when I choose Testing
Server it won't stay in that mode and keeps switching back to the Site Files
mode. This causes my files, which I'm in the process of testing, to be uploaded
to my server.

Anybody else run into this problem or have a solution?

I'm getting this same problem with Dreamweaver 8 for Macintosh. Haven't figured out any solution yet.

Can you restate the problem, please?
