Default DW & Windows XP - 02-08-2005 , 10:14 AM






I just switched to Windows XP and DW MX keeps loosing the connection to the
host or does not connect in the first place :frown;
I did disenable the XP Firewall, but the problem is still there.
What can I do ... HELP!

Move back to whenever you were...

Ok now seriously, there are several things that could affect your
connection. For example if you are behind a proxy, or firewall. If your IE
settings have some special configuration (I just discover that DW takes
the settings from IE :-/ )

Another thing has to do with the type of error (if any) that dreamweaver
generate. If there are unidentified error when you connect. There is a
