Default DW MX 2004 programs loaded - 07-07-2004 , 10:55 AM

I notice in Windows XP Task Manager that after DW is loaded, one sometimes
(but not always) sees a program loaded called "Macromedia License." Does
anyone know what that is and what it does?

Thanks, CMA

Hi CMA,

That is the activation software running. You can read more about
product activation at:

Aaron, thanks for the references. Some of the technical papers were beyond
me.

I guess my simple question is whether the program "Macromedia License" is
supposed to be running whenever we have DW MX 2004 open.

Cheers, CMA

I have not run across that one before.
