DW MX 2004 activation problem - reposted

Hope people don't mind my reposting this, as no one replied to the
original post.

I'm running Dreamweaver MX 2004 on my main desktop machine, and (as
permitted by the licence) also installed it on my laptop. I do not, of
course, use them at the same time.

This arrangement worked fine for ages, until recently I was thinking
of upgrading, so I imaged the laptop hard drive and then installed the
trial version of Dreamweaver CS3 on the laptop; I had to uninstall DW
MX 2004 first. I used the trial version for a week or so.

Because of various problems I decided not to upgrade at this stage, so
I reverted to the previous configuration by copying the image back to
the laptop hard drive. Everything else seemed to work fine, but DW MX
2004 loads and then immediately closes down; briefly a window appears
whose title says something about activation.

Presumably I need to reactivate DW on the laptop, but how do I do that
if the program doesn't give me the option? Should I reinstall the
software? Or try to talk to Adobe??

Dreamweaver continues to work normally on my desktop machine,
fortunately, so it's not a total disaster, but I would like to be able
to use it on the laptop again when out of the office.
