Linux, 2.4.22. (Mandrake). And yes, it supposed to run in my computer:

it seems to be a dreamweaver error. sigh. And all my files are on a FAT32
partition, not a Linux native one.

That is not a supported configuration and MM has not tested or certified
Dreamweaver to run on Linux. If it works, great. If not, then you may not be
able to use it that way.

yes yes I know, commercial developers never support Linux.

My point is that "real Windows" users have had the same problem come up, I was
wondering what the solution is. This fatal error is a dreamweaver error, and if
the solution turns out to be editing a registry key or adding a DLL or a file
or something, I can do that.

I did pay 2,000$ for this software (even though I know perfectly well that it
not supported on my system) I'm just hoping that it will work and that someone
here would be willing to help me.

How are you certain it's a DW error? Is it possible that it's a negative
interaction between DW and the emulation itself?

Hi Murray, thanks for replying.

I am fairly sure that it's a Dreamweaver error. The reason is because other
Linux users can successfully run Dreamweaver, and on Google I found that some
Dreamweaver users had the exact same error as me, only for them it was when
opening files, or using CSS, and the solutions weren't posted that I could find.

What I am going to try now is upgrading to the brand new wine (the Windows
program) that was just released, also I am going to apply the MX 6.1 updates. I
will post back here the results.
