I am having the same problem. I wanted to insert my meta tags - went to the code for the index page and couldn't find the regular setup stuff like doctype or head tags. There is no head section! So I thought this page was made from a template, maybe the doctype and head tags could be found on the template. Well I didn't find them there either. What do you do when your site doesn't have the regular site start codes? Funny thing is the site seems to work on the web in all the browsers ok. How can that be??? Pam |

I know that meta tags, especially keywords, do not carry the weight they used to in seo but I do want to include meta tags in a site. Meta description in particular. I'm wondering if the tags should be in the template or individual page. I'm thinking having them in the individual pages would be best but if that's the case where should they be inserted? Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |

You should put your meta description into the editable region in the head of each page. Make the description specific to each page. |
