I looked and in my site definitions it says "relative to document" but most of my templates, when I opened up the site in the new DW8, revealed links in the "page.html" format.... This is crazy.. elizabeth |

Hi again, I am going to post this up top too because I have clarified the problem now: I have been experimenting with this problem and here is what is happening: I am working on revisions on an old site that was created in a previous version of DW. When I look at the links in the underlying code of each template, they look like this: "page.html" And when pages that were derived from each of the aforementioned templates are previewed in a browser the links work properly.... However, once I change a template in DW8, (I am not changing anything to do with the links) then the links in the child pages do not work any more unless I change the links in the underlying code of the parent template to "../page.html" I am on a Mac. Can anyone help? This is really weird. Elizabeth |

Murray... and the links in the underlying template do still have the "page.html" format. |

More wierdness - So I took the whole site (the one inwhich changing a template in DW8 made the links from the child page not work) and transfered it to my laptop on which I still have DW2004, and changed the template again in the older program - and guess what,, all the links on the child page work again.. Murray... and the links in the underlying template do still have the "page.html" format. please advise |
