Is anyone else experiencing Dreamweaver MX2004 running very slow. It takes forever to save changes locally, and in doing so it seems to have many "flashes". The machine I am running the software on, is a PC. I've got the latest service pack for DRWMX installed. I am running Windows XP Pro sp1, with all service packs and hotfixes installed. The hardware is Intel P4 2.6ghz, 1.5gb of Crucial ram, 128mb ATI Radion 9200Pro video card, 80gb WD HD. When I am experiencing the problems, I have NOTHING else running. I have even gone in and shutoff many services to make sure that I do not have something else interfering with it. I've run out of ideas, and am looking for any other suggestions. I really don't want to try rebuilding my W/S just to try and fix this if there is an easier way to resolve this issue. Thanks, Tim |

Have you tried disabling your antivirus as a test? (As in, turn off real-time scanning and reboot) Especially if it's Norton which can have a problem with DW.
