Dreamweavers 100% CPU usage when FTPing

Dreamweavers 100% CPU usage when FTPing - 11-03-2005 , 02:58 AM

When I perform any synchronisation, put or get functions, the cpu usage of
dreamweaver mx 2004 shoots up to 100% (in reality, its 50% coz of the hyper
threading).

Why is this happening? Does a simple FTP operation requires 3Ghz of the CPU?
Using 3ghz intel p4, 1 gig rap, win xp sp2.
