Default DreamweaverMX, Mysql, Apache en PHP5 dit not work underWindows - 11-19-2004 , 03:46 PM

I have tried hundreds of advices to let Work Studio MX (Dreamweaver MX) with
MySQL (4) and PHP version 5 and Apache (2.0) under Windows XP.
When i make a connection to the database (within the database connection box
in Dreamweaver) i will have an eror "Unidentified error".

My testing server is working.
Apache, Mysql and PHP is working (but noy with Dreamweaver)!

I followed a lot of suggestion but nothing is working.
I still believe that DreamweaverMX did not work very well with Apache 2.0. in
combination with PHP 5 and Mysql 4.0

Alse the suggestion on the Macromedia website i have followed but nothing help
me.

Who have a solution for me?

I have,
We're InterAKT - and making Dreamweaver work with PHP was our priority
from day one
http://www.interaktonline.com/

Anyway - there are some problems with PHP5 and Dreamweaver, and the
infamous "An unidenfied error has occured" has plagued a lot of users. I
suggest you go to this URL, and download the PHP_MySQL patch we provide

http://www.interaktonline.com/Products/Free-Products/PHAkt/Technotes/Details/An+unidentified+error+has+occured+-+Dreamweaver+with+PHP.html?id_thn=57

For a shortcut -
http://www.interaktonline.com/products/products/MySQLDBFix-0_0_3.zip

Good luck (make sure to delete your _mmServerScript files ("Remove
Connection Scripts")

As noted by Alexandru, I think the problem may be PHP 5. I've had no
problem whatsoever running DWMX with PHP4, Apache2, and MySQL4.

At First thanks to Alexandru from Interact Online for the PHP_MySQL patch.
Connecting Errors are more clear to me.
The real solution for my problem is answered by www.design-ireland.net with a
great document of how to install PHP5, PySQL under Windows IIS. When i started
again from zero with that document everything worked in one time!!! Realy great
after days of trouble.
Thanks to everybody.
