Dreamweaver Tutorial

I am trying to teach myself Dreamweaver by working through the tutorials and
some books.

The tables and css examples of "Cafe Townsend" worked fine. Then I moved onto
the xml example - the "Specials Menu".

I think I followed the instructions accurately, and if I view specials.xml
with Firefox, everything is fine. The page displays with the proper stylesheet
etc. But if I view the same page using IE it's reboot time. The system goes
into a continual loop of IE starting and "downloading file" . IE then closes,
and reopens, ad infinitum. Only by shutting down from the Task Manager can I
break out of the loop.

Any thoughts?
