Default Dreamweaver preview problems - 11-16-2004 , 11:10 AM

To anyone that can help....

I'm using OSX, idisk, WebDAV on my Dreamweaver site and when I go to try to
connect through the testing server i get this error message....

An error occured cannot get remote folder information desired action could not
be completed because the server didn't understand the request.(HTTP Error 400)

I don't know if it is something with apache
must I do something to set that up? I thought it was built in OSX?

Also I cannot preview my site using the WebDav protocol

It says....
Access to myname was denied.

after that is all is done a new dreamweaver document appears.

when I try to preview my site on idisk the images will not show up.

I would greatly appriciate any help that anyone can offer me. I'm new to web
design and this will be my first site on the web.

Thanks,
Raun

well I was talking on the .mac forumes and it seems as though .mac servers are
set already to the pictures folder in the iDisk.

to answer my own question: apache is built into the OSX (10.3)

The WebDAV is already set to connect to the Apache. you just need the proper
settings and password to set it up.

So if your building a site in dreamweaver make sure your images folder is
inside your pictures folder on your idisk.

I haven't tried this yet but I will keep you posted....
