Default Dreamweaver MX won't run! - 11-07-2005 , 07:23 PM

I pasted about this a few days ago. I'm using Windows XP Pro Sp2. I
installed Dreamweaver Mx with no error message when but I try to run it
just hangs at the splashscreen. Other parts of the Studio - Fireworks
and Flash have no problem. I've tried safemode and installing without
antivirus software running, no joy. I read the technotes I could find.
I'm stuck. Can anyone please help?

Thanks,

Chris (Hunt)

Where did you get DMX at this date?

If it is a retail version, consider using a support incident with
Macromedia -

Yes, it's a retail version. I've had Dreamweaver since version 3. Mx was
working with XP Sp2 before I reinstalled the entire operating system.
Thanks for the link.

Chris
