Dreamweaver MX v 6.1 and Tiger 10.4.x

I currently use Dreamweaver MX version 6.1 on OS 10.3.9, and will (finally) be
upgrading my operating system to Tiger, OS 10.4.x. I am not in a position to
upgrade my Dreamweaver just now, and want to know if there are any
compatibility issues with the higher OS. I've looked around on the boards and
from what I've read I *think* there won't be an issue, but would like to know
if anyone else is using that configuration. Thanks in advance.....

Other than the known issues with DMX6.1, I don't think you will have a
problem.

I upgraded from OSX 10.3.9 to 10.4.7 a month ago when I got a new MacBook Pro.

Now, any attempt to FTP to the remote server causes Dreamweaver MX version 6.1
to crash.

My work around is to use a third-party FTP client which is a slight annoyance.

:brokenheart; I just got a new MacBook Pro running Tiger version 10.4.7 and had
the exact same problem - Dreamweaver 6.1 crashes when I try to connect to the
remote site! For me, though, this is much more than a minor annoyance. Does
anyone have any solutions? Like Chicago_DM, I can't afford to upgrade my copy
of Studio MX right now.

Hi,

I continued searching and found a suggested solution: change active FTP setting to passive FTP for each site. I did that and it solved the problem.
