Default Dreamweaver MX-Preview problem - 11-07-2005 , 05:14 PM

Hi there, maybe a dumb question. I look after a HTML based site. Everything was
fine when I wanted to preview something. I was asked to contruct a php site, so
I added a folder to the public directory which reqires a testing server to be
nominated and now when I want to preview something it creates a folder with
temporary files in it on my remote server and now no page appears when I
preview something. I know why this happens and I ahev now removed the php
parts, but how do I revert back to being able to prevew something normally so
that it does not automatically connect to the serer and place a file on the
there. Hope this make sense....I'm a bit lost.
On a second note to this...If I add php parts how can both html and php exist
on the same remote folder??? I"m a bit new to php and still learning. Thank you
in advance.

How is your testing server defined in DW?

Stupid of me but I figured it out...I just turned off defining a testing server under edit site preferences and set the access to none.
