Not exactly sure what you mean by "duplicate" but as a workaround, have you
tried "save as"?
If all else fails, you could close DW, and copy/rename your local file(s) in
Windows Explorer or the MAC equivalent program.

Hello: All of a sudden (within the last week or using this program for 5
years) I'm encountering a fatal exception program shut-down after I
duplicate a
page in my local site, rename it and press enter. The act of pressing
"enter"
is causing the program to terminate. It happens every time I do this, and
I do
this often as I duplicate and rename existing pages rather than create new
ones. I have no idea why it's doing this. I have changed nothing on the
system or in the program. I'm running Dreamweaver MX (upgraded to 6.1
three
years ago) on a Windows XP system that has remained the same for years.
No new
software or hardware has been added. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks. |
