Default Dreamweaver MX 2004 Training - 08-03-2004 , 03:15 PM

Hi. I am new to Dreamweaver MX 2004 and I was wondering if anyone knew a good
training book or software that will teach me everything I need to know plus
more. I also plan on taking an online college course in web design too, but if
anyone knows a better way to learn web design please let me know. Thanks for
your time.

Sincerely,
Michael Cottier

Hello Michael,

Since you mentioned online learning, I thought you might want to take a look
at Lynda.com's online movie library...
http://movielibrary.lynda.com/html/modListing.asp?modcategoryid=2 There are
currently 3 Dreameaver MX 2004 titles: Learning Macromedia Dreamweaver MX
2004 (9.5 hours) , Intermediate Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 (7.75 hours)
, and
Dynamic Development Using ASP and Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 (6 hours)
.. (They're listed by most recently released. I listed them in order of skill
level.)

There are free sample movies with each series, which should give you an idea
if it fits your learning style.

If you're looking for a good reference book, the two favorites around these
parts seem to be Joe Lowery's Dreamweaver MX 2004 Bible and Tom Muck and Ray
West's Dreamweaver MX 2004 The Complete Reference.

Disclaimer: I know all of the above book and movie authors personally. Some
may consider my opinion biased for that reason. To that end, I'm sure you'll
evaluate the suggestions and come to your own conclusions. :-)

Good luck,
~Angela

Here's another few I would add to the list -

Check these out:

Dreamweaver MX 2004: The Missing Manual - by David Sawyer McFarland

In addition, I can't praise this one highly enough -
