Default dreamweaver linkage problems - 03-02-2005 , 12:11 PM

The following is more information about templates that have the linkage
problems:

(The following showed up when when I copied and pasted code from appliciation
to my workstation Macromedia environment

1. I am not certain what tool the previous employee used to create the
templates originally. I am assuming the pevious employee used dreamweaver mx
2000 to create the templates. Are there other macromedia tools that could have
created the templates? I have the Universal devnet subscription for 1 year that
is suppose have all the tools.

2. When I am using the macormedia dreamweaver mx 2000 tool, I click on site,
then click on check links site-wide and I received some of the message saying
the following links are problem by the Link Checker:
files
broken links:

b. jslint.htm
js/jslint.js
c. css/default.css
.../help/images/help.jpg
d. loandemo/adminlogon.asp
/Templates/pagebasee00.dwt
e. loandemo/adminoptions.asp
/Templates/pagebaseADMIN.dwt
f. loandemo/applicatnagree.asp
/templates/pagebase01.dwt
g. loandemo/applicantassets.asp
/templates/pagebase02.dwt
h. loandemo/applicantcredithist.asp
/Templates/pagebase02.dwt
i. loandemo/contactus.asp
/Templates/emailform.dwt.asp
j. loandemo/loanlogon.asp vbs/mySQL.vbs
k. loandemo/Templates/emailform.dwt.asp vbs/cdoemail.vbs

I know from the sites, you can go to Change links sitewide. but I do not know
if this would be the correct solution.

here are more more examples:
a. the jslint.htm where the broken link is: js/jslint.js, the
jslint.htm is really located in c:\root directory folder.

b. The jslint.htm has a broken link to #javascript.

c. loandemo/adminlogon.asp the broken link is /Templates/pagebase00.dwt. The
real directory stucture is:
c:/root directory name/loandemo/Templates

d. loandemo/adminoptions.asp is in the c:/root directory folder

Let me know what you would suggest I do.

Thanks!

There is no such critter. Perhaps you just mean Dreamweaver MX?

It's not likely.

Sorry - I can't make heads or tails of this list.
