If you can edit this tag:

<body>

Then, yes. (i.e. <body bgcolor="#000000">)

hello again,

Thanks for your reply, i've found the background tag and changed the colours,
but i also found a post from murray saying that i also had to remove the
background image, when i tried to do that it wouldn't let me saying that i had
to replace it with something else?

Do i need to make an image up in the colour I want to use, is that the idea of
it?

Yes, that's the idea of it.

how easy was that...

thanks very much.

next question:

i worked out how to add another anchor to the global link but when i check it,
it doesn't seem to link to the subglobal8, it also doesn't glow(halo) like the
other ones.

can you point me in the right direction?

thanks

hello again,

ok i went through your site and i think i understood most of it, i practiced
what you said on mine but it didn't work, i'm curious now do i have to do
anything with the named anchor in the code section as well? eg do i have to
link it somehow.

thanks again

Sorry i'll try again

I'm using the halo left template and I added a anchor with my own name in this
case 'cooperation' into the global link, want i want to do now is have this
global link connect up to the subglobal link8 which is already on the template,
I tried following your instruction on the site but for some reason it did not
work, so i'm just wondering whether I did the right thing by placing the new
anchor(name) in design view or should it have been something I do in code view?

thankyou
