I've been using DW CS3 for a month now without any problems. All of a sudden I couldn't connect to any of my sites. When I tried to turn on Passive FTP the program would freeze and I had to shut it down. I searched through a bunch of forums and couldn't find a fix. Finally I checked out a page on Adobe's website which suggested I check my Windows firewall settings to make sure DW is in the exceptions list. I went to Control Panel > Windows Security > Manage Settings. DW was not in the list so I just had to click 'Add Program', select DW and that fixed it. |

Could your Firewall program have been updated or upgraded recently? |
