Dreamweaver CS3 error

I have Vista and recently upgraded to DW CS3. I have been receiving very
frustrating errors. The symptoms of my problems are as follows:
1.When uploading files the status bar says "Connected to "My Website", but it
can take up to 60 to 120 seconds just to do this.
2. When uploading files to the remote server DW upload status bar says " the
operation times out. Cancelling....".
3. Also, all of my dependent files are uploading but, only the .html file
uploads the dependent files say "not transferred".
The files eventually transfer to the remote server but, it is taking unusually
long time to do this. What is strange to me about all of this is, when I plug
the ethernet cable into my laptop at other locations and upload files with DW
every thing works fine. Its only at my home where these errors occur. This
leads me to believe that it could possibly be the network I am on at home. Any
thoughts or suggestions?
