dreamweaver 8 slow saving

I'm trying out Dreamweaver 8 on my PC (1.6 ghz Pentium Moblie, 1 GB
RAM) and after a certain amount of time with the program open, the
saving becomes obnoxiously slow, regardless of how many programs I'm
running. This happens on anything from an aspx file to a text file. I
have to restart the program for it to work properly again, but it's
only a matter of time before the saving gets slow again.

No other editor, or any file-writing program for that matter, has this
problem. My comp is relatively new and handles a lot of crap
simultaneously, so I can only conclude that something is awry with this
build of D8. I love some of the features of this program and I'm really
considering buying it, but this problem is a dealbreaker. Any
suggestions or ideas?
