dreamweaver 8

Ok I spoke to macromedia and they dont know the answer to this question

so i thought I could ask it here

On macromedia US the price for dreamweaver 8 is $399 (dollars) if you go to
macromedia uk the price for dreamweaver 8 is ?399 (pounds). How comes its the
same price for both currencies?

Far be it for me to say what Macromedia should charge for their product but I
thought $399 (dollars) would be converted into pounds which would be about ?235
(pounds) approx..

Just curious as to why its the same price in both currencies....
