After making page changes and saving from the menu... all seems well enough. However, when I go to exit the program I am prompted to save changes. Regardless of whether I say yes or no, I get a pop stating the program has performed an illegal action and will close. I am also prompted to send a report to Microsoft. Help!!!! BTW, I have uninstalled and performed a clean install to no avail. |

Not sure of your question?? What extensions are you referring to?? DreamWeaver worked flawlessly until I dloaded a demo of MX and since then, nothing I do will return to me a working version of DW 4. It will not save the changes, crashes and closes on exit?? I'm running XP Pro with all criticals and service pack 2 installed. Thanks. |

No, it's a clean install. Stock as a rock. In fact, I just uninstalled DW 4 earlier (again) and installed DW 3 and I get the exact same error on close. Prompts me to save (even though I already have) presents the error message with options to debug, send or don't send to MS and regardless of what I choose, program closes and no changes are saved??? Thanks. |

You said: "Neither DW4 nor DW3 are really XP savvy." I was running DW 4 just fine from my work station with XP Pro before this hiccup... I also run DW 3 from my home system with XP Pro, no problems. In fact, I'm having to do all my web work from home because of this little problem. I hate to ghost a new image on my machine because of this snafu, but I'm running out of options. Thanks for your help. |
