Dreamwaver MX 2004 Launch problems on MacOS X 10.3.5

Hi all,

I have reinstalled Dreamwaver MX 2004 on my Mac again.
I have delete the old installation and install the program new. Now I have a
problem at the program launch: The Dreamwaver MX 2004 icon appear in the
dock but after some seconds the icon disappears and Dreamwaver doesn't
start.
Any ideas, where is the problem?

Some users are reporting that Macromedia applications will not launch
after upgrading to Panther. These issues are specific to users who
upgraded using either the "Archive and Install" or the "Erase and
Install" features. This issue has frequently been described as the
application icon bounces on the dock, but the application doesn't launch.

What Mac OS are you running? Have you recently upgraded? I had this
problem when I upgraded a machine a while back. In the end I reinstalled
everything on the Mac from scratch. The other thing to try is to go into
your preferences directory and rename the preferences file for Dreamweaver
to something else. I have to do this with Fireworks every few weeks for
some reason.
