Draw lines

I'd like to draw lines (horizontal and vertical) in DW to create a organogram, f..i using layers. Is that possible and if so, how?

I suppose you *might* succeed if you spend a lot of time creating either
a table with numerous cells here and there, propped up by shims and
adding different CSS border styles or by using layers and doing roughly
the same. But that would be shaky and lines/boxes might end up in
November in some browsers.

I'd create a nice, clean gif with as few colors as possible instead.

Thanks, but I'd also like to create hyperlinks and that makes a .gif not possible

Yes, it's very muc possible to create links anyway.
Insert the image (organogram) and put image maps (a.k.a. hotspots) where
you want the links. Look down left in the property inspector.
