dragging nav bar to Library -

I am a newbie to DW and struggling to develop a navigational scheme for a web
site.
Currently exploring using DW4 navigational bar. Could not add it to the
Library. Can someone help?
I create a navbar using techniques described in the help section. Checked
the vertical and table boxes. It worked, ok, sorta. At first it created a one
row table and shoved all 7 buttons into it left to right; should have created 7
rows of 1 button each. Was able to fix that by using property inspector to
increase # rows to 7, then dragging each button to a row . So while it did not
work as advertised there was a workaround so this is now a minor problem for
the future.
The major problem came when I drug the navbar table to the Libary panel. Note
that other items had successfully been drug there. Received this error message
"Cannot copy the 'Set Nav Bar Image' behaviour. Use behaviour Inspector to
remove and apply again."
In addition, the program froze up; nothing worked. Had to use
control-alt-delete and restart DW4.
Problem repeated several times.
Note; no templates exist on the site.
So, what is causing this problem; how do I fix it? Oh, and nowhere do I find
the aforementioned 'remove & apply again' buttons on either the property
inspector or behaviour panel. |
