Default DOTTED LINE AROUND LINK! - 07-30-2004 , 12:59 PM

Hi all:
I'm new to DW and after putting the links on the pages I've done up, a
dotted rectangle appears every time the the links are clicked on.
Although I don't see this as being a big problem, I'm wondering if there's
any way to prevent this or is it just a systemic glitch?

Thanks to he/she that answer,
M

It's not a glitch, it's a usability feature of nearly every browser to
show which link/element/button/... is currently focused.

if the link is in form of an image (eg. <a href="l.html'><img soomething.jpg></a>), make sure that you set the border of the img tag to zero by adding the border="0" .

Micha:
Thanks for the info, but does this mean this is just the way it is and can't
be changed?

Maybe with some Javascript, but I wouldn't recommend it. Why do you want
to remove it at all?
