I am having a problem with horizontal scroll bars on a new site. Please check out www.cocsd.com and let me know why! I have messed with the table width from 95% to 98% but no change. On this computer that I put the site together on, I run 1024x768 resolution and all is fine. Another PC here is a 15 inch monitor at 800x600 and I see horizontal scrolling on all of the pages where the middle cell of the table is wide... Why does the percentage setting on table width not correct this? Thanks mucho for your help. Paul |

There actually is no need to have any table widths on that design. If you highlight the table and remove the widths, the table will automatically resize depending on the browser window size. |

As for your horizontal scroll - here's why: in the center, you have a 'wbline.gif' at 402px wide at the very bottom, far left cell - you have a spacer gif at 197px; at the far right cell, a spacer gif at 229px. Adding up those dimensions you get: 828px total. |
