what kind of browsersupport does position: fixed have?
are there any workarounds for browsers that doesnt support it correctly? are there workarounds reliable?

this http://www.w3.org/Style/CSS/current-work - only with a centralized wrapper that has a width and also contain a fixed menu on the right hand side
