Default Document Navigation via Keyboard - 07-04-2004 , 09:06 PM

Howdy,

Does anyone know how to add a keyboard shortcut for navigating between open
documents?

I've tried the old standard (WordStar's CTRL-Arrow) but alas that doesn't work.

Right now I have to:

ALT-W (for Window on the menu bar)
UP ARROW until I get to the document I want
ENTER

This is very kludgy! The documents aren't even numbered in the Window menu
like most other big apps (PhotoShop, Excel, QuickBooks, etc.). At least having
a number would cut down on the UP ARROW's and turn it into just two keystrokes
(or three if you count ALT-W as being two strokes, but they're simultaneous so
I count 'em as one).

Any clue would be most appreciated.

Thanks!

Did you try the Windows standard: Ctrl+Tab ?

Duh, thanks!

Guess I'm too old school to have tried that.

Any clue where in the menu structure I would have found that command. Swear I looked at every choice, sure didn't see it!
