In your first answer the only diifferenec was a lowercase j instead of a
capital J? That will not make any difference?
Well - I hadn't seen your code or page at that point - so it was just a
guess. It's always handy if you can put a link with your question,
failing that post the code and relative css.

I can't make the PVII swap class to work, when I use it it doesn't have the
option for 'Hideit' and 'Showit' ? have I got an old version?

Copy the page - the css is embedded in the head of the doc, showfaq and
hidefaq are just classes which are used in he demo - you can call your
classes anything you want.

Thanks for your help, I copied the whole PVII 'Swap Class' page and copied into
mine and then edited the page to have my data on it, works great and validates.

My other page that doesn't validate because of JS is
http://www.atishameditation.co.uk/mo...bscription.htm is a bit
more difficult because it contains a script for subscribing to a monthly
newsletter by Email.

Can't you externalise this script or at least move it to the head of the
document?

I have copied the Javascript into an external file, deleted that JS from the
page and made ref to the external page which I uploaded also, then tried to
subscribe to own email address but the buttons didn't work? I think because the
buttons call some js also, not sure what to put in the js
http://www.atishameditation.co.uk/graphicmail.js. Not up to speed with js

I really couldn't say - but I posted a dummy email addy and hit
subscribe button, which worked for me - it seemed to work as I was
directed to a confirmation page!

I know it works because I reverted back to my original page, which if you check
doesn't validate. When I changed the page to just have the external javascript
file, when you put an email address into the field and clicked on the
'Subscribe' button; nothing happened!

The only thing that I thought of was the page has refs to js in two lines
around the 'subscribe/unsubscribe' buttons
"javascript:%20if(testInput()){document.inputFo... ."

I wondered if I put those lines into my external js file and deleted them from
my page that it might work? Then I wondered where I would put them I my
external js?

I'm sorry, I'm a little js challenged - perhaps the script author can help.

If not, try a new post with 'js and validation issue' in the subject line.
