DMX Crashes when I close all documents! (and other problems)

So I'm on and iMac running OS X 10.2


I have just installed DMX on my machine and have had nothing but
trouble so far. 'little help?

1. If I close all dreamweaver documnts, DMX crashes. So if I launch
dreamweaver, it starts with it's default document open. If I close
it, the app crashes. If instead of closing the default document I
open my own stuff, everything is fine... until I close all the
windows. It crashes... every time.


2. The color coding is painful. I want my ASP code to all have a
grey background. I've gone through the preferences and set every
APS/VB tag to grey background. It works - sort of. First, spaces and
punctuation didn't get the background. Since then I've updated the
colorcoding XML with a line to handle 'text' so that punctuation and
spaces have a grey background - but it's really inconsistent.
Sometimes it works, sometimes not (typically what happens is after
working for a while the spaces and punctuation go back to white - if I
quit the app and come back in , everything is fine (for a while...)


Has anybody had/solved these problems?


I must say - I'm done with the app unless there are simple solutions.
Homesite (no longer available on the mac...) is being sorely missed.
I've switched to taco html editor for now - it does nothing fancy, but
at least it doesn't crash...
