Default Div Positioning - 06-09-2008 , 04:33 PM

Hi there,

I am working on a site where I have a div layer show and hide, the only
problem is, the position is really off on different browers and screen
resolutions, i want it to appear next to the question it answers, any ideas on
the best way to do this?

This is neither a screen resolution problem, nor a div position problem.
It's a basic layout problem. It sounds like you have used both absolutely
positioned elements ('layers') and centering or flexible tables, and what is
happening is that the content in the tables is moving, while the absolutely
positioned stuff is, well, absolutely positioned.

Please post a link to the page.

Sure, here is a link: http://www.breezemarketing.ca/orange
the pop up I am referring to is when you hover over the first question.

any suggestion on how to correct the layout issue would be SO appreciated.

i have worked for many different companies before and many of clients prefer
the default 1024 x 768. They are a group of programmers and are well aware
there could be scrolling with different screen resolutions. As much as I
appreciate the extra tips and business advice, I was really hoping for an
answer to my posted question. The site is no where near live and I know it
needs cleaning up, I just really need to get this one issue resolved for now.
Thanks.
