div overlapping

Hello all,

I've got a page laid out with div tags. The footer div overlaps the wrapper
div when I'm looking at it in design view in dreamweaver. I can get the divs
to not overlap in dreamweaver's design view if I add 3 - <br /> in between the
two divs, but then the footer is not displayed on the page on any of the
browsers (it's a footer that is always on the bottom of the page, that gets
pushed down if the body is large). How do I get dreamweaver's design view to
not overlap these divs? Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
