Default displaying sites side by side - 07-06-2004 , 10:58 AM

Hello All

I should be reallly grateful if someone could tell me how (if?) I can display
2 sites structures on the screen.

I have 2 sites, one in English, the other Welsh, and I need to move several
directories, but it would be really handy if I could call up the sites on the
screen at the same time, move 1 on 1 site, and then do the same on the other,
so I can easily check I am keeping the directory structures the same

Is this possible? It seems a basic thing to do, but have spent the last hour
scratching around and still cant work out how to do it!

Why not simply open the two direcories in Finder (or whatever it's
called on Win), i.e. forget about DW, just open the folders side by
side. No?

to add a suggestion-
Open the folders in Windows Explorer or Mac finder, to see how they are laid
out as a reference. But- move the files around in the Local Side of the F8
Site manager window, so dreamweaver will fix links it knows about as you
move files.

Yes. I forgot to mention the obvious: Just *compare* the two directories
outside DW. Move them inside the app, since the paths will update
automatically.

I admit the latter method is for chickens, though... ;-)
