Default dinamic text in a html - 07-02-2006 , 02:49 PM

Hellow to everybody i would like to know if is it posible,
to create an html file, that can call an independient txt file.

The point is that i am creating a website that needs a page,
that contains a text part, that will change every week.

This text part is generated with the independient text file,
example: "texto1.txt".

I would like to know if this is posible, and wich code i have to put on the
html source.

Thanks to anyone who can help me.
David

does your host support .shtml
if so then you can as far as i know have the texto1.txt as an include, but
you will still be limited in what you can do with it, you wil need to ftp
that text file to your server. etc. if you want to use cgi and your isp
supports it then have a look at
